Across the Border

Embark on the ultimate 5-day journey across four countries with the Across the Border Tour! Crafted by experienced Dutch Tablers, including a Past National I.R.O. and a Past RTI-board member, this pre-tour delves into borders, European history, and culture.

From diverse cuisines to local traditions, every detail is expertly curated. Your itinerary, transit, accommodation, and entertainment are all arranged.

Meet local Tablers, immerse in their customs, and enjoy three meals daily plus ample drinks. The tour cost covers transport, activities, accommodation, and more. Join us for the perfect kickoff to the most International World Meeting ever!

Starting place: Maastricht

Program:
SATURDAY – Baarle-Nassau-Hertog

Morning: 10.00 The bus will depart for Baarle. Enjoy a unique tour through the Town of Baarle, followed by outdoor lunch and activities on two wheels. The day will conclude with dinner at a brewery and home hosting with local Tablers.

SUNDAY – Arlon

The bus will travel to the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, where we will delve into World War II history after enjoying Belgium’s finest beers. In the evening, we will gather with the local Tablers. Dinner will be in beautiful Arlon, followed by more home hosting.

MONDAY – Luxembourg

A short bus drive will bring us to Luxembourg, where we will visit a castle and enjoy a wine tasting. In the evening and night, we will stay together in the same hostel for a great get-together and dinner with local Tablers from Luxembourg.

TUESDAY – Kerkrade

The bus will take us to another special border situation and the home of our current National President of RTNL. We will gather with the local Table, which has a great day planned for us with some real local activities. The night will be spent in a hotel.

WEDNESDAY – Maastricht

Visit and toast at the tri-border point before traveling to Maastricht.
